From biology to browsers
I started out studying biology at Faculty of Sciences, then found my way into design and code — first as a graphic designer, later full-stack. Eight years on, I still work both sides of the brief: the interface someone clicks through, and the visual identity that makes it recognisable.
Day to day that means custom WooCommerce plugins for prescription eyewear, Shopify pricing calculators fed by live gold rates, Laravel back ends, and the logos, brochures and business cards that sit alongside them. I like projects where the code and the design have to agree with each other.

Custom cart validation requiring at least three products from a designated sample category before checkout.

A product-page customiser where buyers enter text, pick a print font, and preview it live before ordering.
WooCommerce
Custom purchase flow
Replaced the standard Buy Now action with a Call Us and WhatsApp redirect, matching the client's sales process.
Branding & graphic design
Before full-stack development, design was the whole job — logos, labels, brochures, business cards and book covers for clients including Dr. Olivee and 911MyWeb.com, built in Photoshop and Canva. That eye for a cohesive brand still shapes every site: SafeHaven's logo and colour system is a recent example, and identity work — logo design, letterheads, pitch decks and print collateral — is very much still on offer alongside development.

Only reason I give her 4 [I wish it was 4.5 stars] is because we did not have a video call hand-over to go over the PPT so that I could be better prepared as the end user. She used a lot of advanced tool {which were super amazing and mostly new to me} that meant I needed a quick video tutorial to understand how to use them. So from a UX it was a waste of her amazing talent to have all these cools stuff that I could not use in the end. However, from her UI stand point she delivered 100% brilliant PPT! I'd of course use her again and again...but this time I take the responsibility to make sure she has enough time - as to be fair it was my fault we had no time left for the video call. Even then Marian tried her very best to inspire me and teach me using screen shots etc. She is amazing and so caring for clients. I'd highly recommend her for any multi-media presentation work!
